In late 2009, a tv programme named Britain’s Best Brain will be shown in … Britain.

The tasks include rapidly answering mental calculation questions while distraction goes on with sounds of numbers, etc. going on around the contestant. Another task is memory-related:

associating each picture item with a picture of a celebrity; then associating each picture item with a sound; then recalling the celebrity after hearing a sound (via their related picture object).

I think this show could be great material for Harry Hill or Charlie Brooker.

The contestants are told at the start that they will face a trial of their risk assessment skills. And in what form does this challenge come?…

I won’t spoil it for you. I won’t burst your bubble. You just have to wait and see!

Another reason to watch to the end is that one of the presenters gives out a one-liner of advice about how to use your brain better.
